Accident & Injury Report Forms

Help British Fencing to keep a record of all significant accidents or injuries that occur during fencing bouts or lessons

British Fencing needs to keep a record of all significant accidents or injuries that occur during fencing bouts or lessons.

Of particular importance are incidents involving weapons as these are unique to fencing. The record should be as accurate as possible and relies on members reporting injuries. In order to improve the process the report form has been redesigned and will be available now on the web site or by email. Copies will also be sent to all regions and major event organizers.

PLEASE HELP by sending in a report for any accident or injury that you consider should be recorded. [Excluded would be minor bruising / muscle strains for example]. If you find it easier not to use the form, feel free just to send a brief report.

Many thanks to those who have taken the time to send information – it is much appreciated as it is impossible to maintain useful data without this help.
