Fencing in Sports Centres

Fencing is ideal for holiday activity programmes and a group of 16 or so may be accommodated in a floor area equivalent to that of a badminton court.

Fencing classes are compatible with other activities and may be organised in a curtained-off area of the main hall or in training rooms.

The capital cost is low and equipment has a long life. Short courses are available to enable sports centre staff to learn to teach fencing
