Ever wondered what it’s like to be a musketeer? Is there a bit of Jack Sparrow in you? Are you a Xena Warrior Princess?
GO/FENCE is the fun, easy way to start fencing. There are lots of ways and places you can try it – at school, a leisure centre, youth club or even your nearest park or open space – or at home!
How do I get started?
Your local club will have all the fencing equipment you need – just turn up in a tracksuit and trainers. If you want to fence at home, you can buy GO/FENCE equipment from British Fencing.
British Fencing’s GO/FENCE leadership course teaches participants – who do not need any fencing experience – how to lead fencing sessions using plastic and foam fencing equipment. The course lasts six hours and is appropriate for all, minimum age 14.
