Workshops

British Fencing are pleased to be working with GBSport to provide our clubs with a comprehensive and interesting guide through the complicating world of employment, self employment, VAT and insurance in sport. If you are involved in employing/using coaches on a regular basis and are unclear on the essential business information you need to be aware of, this workshop is certainly for you.

British Fencing also offer numerous Sports Coach UK workshops aimed at developing coaches.

Workshops are often offered alongside our National Academy programme.

Resources

British Fencing is now an Official Partner of runningsports and we highly recommend you become a network member of the organisation. This is totally free of charge and there is a wealth of information on the website that will support your club volunteers.

 

There are downloadable quick guides and top tips on areas including funding, taxation and sport, planning your club’s future and promoting and marketing your club to name just a few.

Upon registering you will also be sent a Network Member pocket guide to assist you in navigating the website and picking out the elements that are most useful to you and your club.

Hire2Buy Scheme

The Hire2Buy scheme is designed to help expand the fencing infrastructure by using the NGBs buying power and financial strength to help clubs increase the amount of kit they have available to sustain and extend their activities. This is open to all properly constituted English clubs which are affiliated to British Fencing.
