Cadet and Junior British Championships 2017
1st/2nd July 2017
David Ross Sports Village, The University of Nottingham, NG7 2RD
Entry Information is available here.
Any athlete wishing to be selected for Great Britain at FIE (including Satellites) or EFC competitions must compete in the National Championships in the relevant category - Cadet, Junior or Senior. This mean that if you intend to represent GB at International Junior Level, for example, you are required to fence at the Junior British Championships 2017. Only in expeceptional circumstances will an exemption be granted, which must be sought in advance and received in the form of written approval via British Fencing Head Office. For further information please see here.
Entries can be made through Sport80 here.
Alongside the Championships we will also be hosting British Fencing Awards Dinner on Saturday 1st July. Following on from last year’s success the Awards offer the opportunity for some of the best clubs, coaches, fencers and volunteers around the country to be recognised for their contribution to fencing. Awards will be nominated and voted on by the members of British Fencing. Information on how to buy tickets for the awards and on how to nominate and vote will shortly be available here.
