GLL CAMDEN INTERNATIONAL CADET SABRE TOURNAMENT

Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January 2011

ACCREDITATION

The Tournament is an accredited ranking competition for boys and girls on European Fencing Confederation Cadet Circuit and also nominated ranking event on British Cadet Circuit.

Acland Burghley School Sports Centre, Churchill Road, London NW5 1UJ [School is opposite Tufnell Park Underground Station on Northern Line].

QUALIFICATION AGE

Born in 1994 or later [Under 17 on 1st January 2011]

ENTRIES

Overseas Entries are restricted to 20 entries per nation in individual events.

We will guarantee 25 places in individual events to British Fencers based on National Rankings on 1st January 2011. Other applicants will be placed on a standby list and these will be then allocated by weapon captain should space allow. The tournament limit is 140. Team Events will be limited to 18 per weapon. Each Federation will be guaranteed one place. Additional places may be allowed if space allows.

REGISTRATION

All overseas fencers need to be registered with European Fencing Confederation. See procedure on www.eurofencing.info/registration.

Domestic fencers will be registered by British Fencing Association

EQUIPMENT

No name on back of fencers jacket is required. However, for safety reasons FIE equipment should be used [800N jacket and breeches, 1600N masks, 800N plastron and FIE homologated blade].

PRIZES

Individual Winners £250, 2nd place £150, 3rd Place £100.

First, Second and Third Places in Individual and Team events win medals.
