These pages are designed to assist parents of athletes, mainly those in the National Academy and those selected to represent Great Britain at Junior and Cadet level.
British Fencing has worked with Parents of Youth fencers to establish an independent Parents Group who will represent the needs of parents of athletes in our Junior, Cadet and Academy programmes. This group will help British Fencing to improve communication with parents and athletes, will act as a sounding board for new ideas or changes and will establish a "Parent Charter" for parents attending to support Junior and Cadet trips.
This group will also be invited to attend International Youth Committee meetings to assist further with communication to and from parents.
