BRITISH FENCING SHORTLISTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS BT SPORT INDUSTRY AWARD
The BT Sport Industry Awards 2016 have shortlisted British Fencing for the much sought after “Governing Body of the Year” award for 2016.
These are annual awards, covering a range of achievements within the industry. The organisers state that the British Fencing submission was carefully selected from an exceptionally high standard of entries; and to earn a place on the Official Shortlist represents a “brilliant achievement”.
Winners will be announced at the BT Sport Industry Awards on Thursday 28th April, in front of all the key players and decision makers of the sport industry.
David Teasdale, British Fencing Chair, said today; “We are all proud to be recognized in this way by colleagues in the industry. It reflects the journey we have made in recent years and credit goes to our Board and Executive team - and of course in particular our athletes and the terrific army of volunteers. I should add that there are no costs for British Fencing associated with this award”.
