Heidenheim Men’s Epee World Cup

Six British fencers took part in this event in a massive field of three hundred and fourteen.  Elliott Grover and Philip Marsh achieved the best results by making the second preliminary knockout stage.

Baltimore Women’s Sabre World Cup

Six British athletes were in a field of one hundred and seventy in the USA at the weekend.  Aliya Itzkowitz and Caitlin Maxwell achieved the best results by making the first preliminary knockout stage.

Itzkowitz and Maxwell were joined by Sarah-Jane Hampson and Jessica Corby in the team event where they lost to Germany in the round of 32.

Aix-en-Provence Junior Men’s Foil World Cup

Twelve British fencers took part in this event in a field of one hundred and seventy-four.  Dominic De Almeida achieved the best result by making the round of 32.

In the team event, Great Britain lost to the Netherlands in the round of 16 and finished thirteenth.

Zagreb Junior Women’s Foil World Cup

There were eleven British athletes in this event in a field of one hundred and fifty-one.  Heloise Hardie achieved the best result by making the round of 64.

The British team finished twelfth after losing to Germany in the round of 16.

Cadet Men’s Epee Krakow EFC Circuit

Three British fencers took part in this event in a field of two hundred and seventeen.  Louis Taiwo-Williams got the best result by finishing in the round of 128.

Cadet Men’s Sabre Bucharest EFC Circuit

Ian Ren was the only British athlete in this event.  He claimed silver from a field of one hundred and twenty-five.  Full report to follow.
