BRITISH OLYMPIC FENCERS UNVEILED AT BEAZLEY HEAD OFFICE

6th July 2012

The twelve-strong Olympic fencing team took a day off from training on Thursday 5th July to spend some time with Beazley before they go into lockdown. The athletes started their day by participating in a photoshoot at iconic London sites including St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, and moved onto Beazley's office roof for some videoed interviews with the City vista behind them. After a quick team interview with the Daily Telegraph the team was introduced to Beazley's 500 London employees at a lunchtime announcement in the 2nd floor cafe area. Beazley employees had already been split into the Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Black teams, with colour corresponding wristbands, and the fencers drew foam swords to find out which team they would be joining.

A team Q&A session followed, before the day got serious and each team competed in the first task of the office Olympics - the throw as many foam swords into a bin as possible in one minute... The day was enjoyed by Beazley employees and athletes alike, and we look forward to seeing the professional photos.
