A new L2 coaching course has been added to the 2024 Coach Education calendar.
The Coaching Fencing Level 2 in Epsom is confirmed and scheduled for the 16th and 17th of November, and the 8th and 9th of December 2024. The 4-day course will take place at Glyn School and be led by our BF Coach Developer Nick Payne.
All three weapons will be taught simultaneously (each candidate will be trained in the weapon of their choice).
Who is this course for?
Coaching Fencing Level 2 is the course that prepares coaches to work in the Development space, where fencers that have built the foundations gain confidence to progress in their fencer journey. They require sessions with more technical and tactical content, with a weapon-specific focus. The coach’s development must accompany this move, and a CFL2 qualification enables them to provide what fencers need at this stage.
