We’re thrilled that Norton College was the first school to take part in our brand-new Fencing WOW Day: a one-day experience designed to give the whole school the chance to try this exciting Olympic and Paralympic sport.
Our WOW Fencing Experience Day, part of We Are Forging Futures, brings fencing directly into schools, giving students of all ages and abilities a fun, safe, and engaging introduction to a sport that many have never tried before. Norton College embraced the opportunity and the feedback was fantastic: “It was amazing, our students loved it!”
The school also praised the delivery of the session, saying that our We Are Forging Futures-endorsed coach “was brilliant with our students and they certainly got a lot from it.”
The WOW Day isn’t just a taster – it’s a unique, high-impact experience that introduces students to something new, builds confidence, and creates a real buzz across the whole school.
We’re excited to roll this out to more schools across the region and beyond.
