We’re delighted to have signed a new partnership with Grey Prism, who will be recognised as BF’s ‘Official Security Partner’.
Grey Prism was established by former members of the UK Special Forces in 2021. They specialise in providing bespoke security services, including risk management, close protection, and surveillance. They bring a wealth of insight and knowledge from decades of global operational experience. Grey Prism operates globally with expertise spanning diverse regions, ensuring the safety and connectivity of their clients worldwide.
Grey Prism operates their own Training Academy for accredited security and medical training and bespoke courses, crafted for government, commercial and journalism sectors.
For those more adventure minded, they also operate Dark Prism – a unique insight into Special Forces operation in their Close Quarters Battle skill house in Central London.
This partnership will offer BF GBR staff and athletes access to specialist advice when traveling internationally to ensure their safety, so that focus can stay on the event.
Roger Macmillan, BF’s specialist advisor at Grey Prism, said:
“Having fenced (on and off!) for over 45 years, it is my turn to give something back to my sport. I have access to Grey Prism’s global network of trusted operators to acquire real-time risk advice and sentiment in places where British fencers travel and to support British Fencing with managing travel and security risks overseas.”
Harry Brown, BF Head of Partnerships, added:
“The safety of staff and athletes when traveling on international duties is paramount. Through this exciting partnership, BF is able to access real-time specialist security advice from Grey Prism, ensuring travel to events is worry-free so that focus can stay on performing at the elite level. BF is extremely grateful for such an essential collaboration with a global specialist operator.”
