JJ Webb offers behind the scenes view on the Road to Tokyo
As the Rio Games is now over, attention immediately switches to the next Olympic journey to Tokyo 2020. Today is the start of that journey for the World Class Programme and Jonathan Webb will be using social media to give fans the opportunity to have a behind the scenes view of his and the sabre squads preparations.
Speaking about the project, Jonathan (or “JJ” as he is known) said; “I was lucky enough to be in Rio and it was amazing. I got a real buzz from being there, soaking up the atmosphere and cheering on TeamGB. The interest from the media and general public was amazing and inspired me to publish an online scrapbook via social media as we prepare for Tokyo. I will post images, video and text via Snap Chat and Twitter but will consider other platforms in the future depending on interest.”
