COMPETITION CALENDARS FOR GBR SELECTION

Please note:

Changes will occur at short notice – All calendars (FIE, EFC and BF) will be subject to change, and in some cases, this is happening at very short notice due to circumstances outside of BF’s control.

Nomination & selection timescales may be compressed – Selections for nominated international competitions are traditionally scheduled six weeks from the competition date. BF reserves the right to use shorter notice periods for some selections where the necessary information is not available (for example we may not have received the reglements/official information, the date of competition has changed, competition is cancelled and a replacement is scheduled earlier).

• Parents and Personal Coaches whose athletes are seeking selection should make sure they read this, which includes advice on how to prepare athletes for non-selection.
• Exact dates/days/times of domestic competitions will be available in Sport:80 and international competition organisers publish competition reglements on the FIE and EFC websites.

General Reminders for all EFC & FIE events:

Entry & Exit Requirements – Athletes and parents need to review the requirements to enter those respective countries. Athletes and parents are also required to ensure they understand the requirements to return to the UK or their respective countries.

EFC & FIE Licenses will need to be purchased via the BF membership platform. This is a requirement to enter into international events. For more information click here.

Passports expiration dates should be checked to ensure the country that the athletes are visiting will allow them to enter with a sufficient length.
