PLEASE NOTE: ALL COACHES, ATHLETES AND PARENTS AIMING FOR GBR REPRESENTATION AT MAJOR EVENTS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE READ THIS PAGE: GBR GUIDE TO A MAJOR EVENT

The GBR major events are the European and World Championships for Cadets, Juniors, U23s (Euros only) and Seniors, plus the World University, European and Olympic Games.

The first major event of the season is in February with the Cadet and Junior European Championships, and typically, the last will be the Senior World Championships in July. The Senior Worlds is not held in years when there is a summer Olympic Games.

These are milestone events for athletes on the GBR Pathway. The links below provide information for athletes, coaches, and parents about these events.

Please note that all of these events are managed by BF sometimes in partnership with other organisations eg BUCS, TeamGB and parents/athletes should not be making independent plans without consulting BF first.

These pages will be updated on a regular basis as information is shared via the Local Organising Committee (LOC) on each event.
