GBR MAJOR EVENTS ZONE

** ALL COACHES, ATHLETES AND PARENTS AIMING FOR GBR REPRESENTATION AT MAJOR EVENTS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE READ: GBR GUIDE TO A MAJOR EVENT**

The GBR major events are the European and World Championships for Cadets, Juniors, U23s (Euros only) and Seniors, plus the World University, European and Olympic Games. The first major event of season is in February with the Cadet and Junior European Championships, and typically the last will be the Senior World Championships (replaced every 4th year with the Olympic Games) in July. These are milestone events for athlete on the GBR Pathway. The links below provide information for athlete, coaches and parents on these events.

Please note that all of these events are managed by BF (sometimes in partnership with other organisations eg BUCS, TeamGB) and parents/athletes should not be making independent plans without consulting BF first.

(The information on the 2024 Zonal Qualifying Event can be found here.)

These pages will update on a regular basis as information is shared via the Local Organising Committee (LOC) on each event.
