Barry Flood

It is with much sadness that we report the death of Barry Flood.

A well-known character to those in the fencing community especially in North East where he set up an elite training centre at Durham University.  Barry introduced Lazlo Jakob, a former Hungarian Olympic coach, in 1996 and soon after that Salle Jakob became known for producing title winning sabre fencers.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
