The Board of British Fencing is the body responsible for the overall governance of the sport. They set the strategic direction of the sport and monitor implementation.
The Board currently consists of 10 Board Directors, 8 elected and 2 appointed (Chair of the BF and the CEO). In addition to the voting directors, various other members such as Home Country representatives and technical expertise attend the Board. The Athletes Commission are also represented on the Board and staff members attend to update the Board on individual areas.
