We are delighted to today announce the finalists of the 2017 British Fencing Awards.
Nominations have been made by members of British Fencing and a shortlist of Finalists has been decided upon. The full list of Finalists is show below.
Judging will now be conducted by an independent panel including representatives of Sport England, BUCS and the British Olympic Association. The winners will be announced at the British Fencing Awards Dinner on 1st July 2017 at the East Midlands Conference Centre at The University of Nottingham.
The winner of Fencing Personality of the Year will be decided by a poll launched on our Facebook page today. Voting for this award will close at 5pm on Wednesday 21st June 2017.

Proceeds from the Awards Dinner will be used to support the 2017/2018 Cadet & Junior International GB Squads. If you are interested in sponsoring an award or donating a prize in the raffle please contact Amy Grant.
Note for Cadet and Junior Championships Participants
The Awards Dinner will take place on the Saturday evening of the Cadet and Junior Championships. The event schedule has been planned to allow all competitors to attend the dinner, which is being held within 2 minutes walk of the official accommodation block and 5 minutes walk from the fencing venue. The formal part of the evening will be completed by 9.30pm.
