2024 PARALYMPIC GAMES NOMINATION POLICY CONSULTATION

BF opens consultation on the Nomination Policy for athletes seeking nomination for the 2024 Paralympic Games. Responses by 3rd September 2023.

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place from 28^th August to 8^th September 2024.

Context

• The British Paralympic Association (BPA) selects and enters athletes for Paralympic Games.
• The role of BF is to nominate athletes to the BPA to be considered by them for selection.
• Qualification for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games will take place in accordance with the published IWAS document as agreed by the International Paralympic Committee.

Consultation responses should be submitted via the form here by 3rd September 2023.

Before responding please make sure you have read and understood the published IWAS document as agreed by the International Paralympic Committee.

The final Nomination Policy will be subject to agreement with the UK Sports Institute (who operate the Para Fencing World Class Programme), the British Paralympic Association and approval by the BF Board.
