Disability Fencing Community Discussion Event January

BF’s Community Discussion events continue with a Disability Fencing focused session.

This event is an open discussion intended for Coaches, participants, and Club Admins who either have a disability, currently run sessions for disabled participants or want to run sessions for disabled participants. Everyone is welcome whether they currently have a BF membership or not.

The session will cover our intention to release a club survey, our disability inclusion strategy, and our plans to build club and member resources to improve the delivery of seated fencing opportunities and our wider disability inclusive fencing plans.

Its a great opportunity to connect with Rick Rodgers, BF’s new Inclusion Officer (Disability), and ask any questions about the work we are doing in this area. The community discussion will also be delivered alongside staff from the Home Country fencing organisations.

The session will take place on Wednesday 18th January 2023 at 6:00pm via Zoom. A Zoom link will be made available in the new year ready for those wishing to to join.
