Brian Brittain and Paul Abrahams join #BFLearningWeek 2025 with ‘Ratings Explained (Events)’, taking place on Monday 18th August at 6pm-7pm.

This will be a ‘how to’ session for users of the platform (www.ukratings.co.uk/). Brian and Paul will discuss running events, and how competition organisers can using rating events to make their events more financially sustainable.
The session will also cover what we’ve learnt from the Ratings projects about people that compete, and how that might factor into what clubs and competition organisers provide.
BF Learning Week is an annual opportunity for our members and wider community to join online developmental and informative sessions in subjects from coaching to community development. Due to the work being made in the para and seated fencing spaces, such as the SwordSeat™, the aim for 2025 is to focus on accessibility and disability inclusion.
The week will take place between the 18th and 22nd August 2025.
