Since 2014, British Fencing has been working successfully with the Scouts Association to increase the number of opportunities for young people to access a fun and enjoyable fencing experience. Based on insight from young people and young fencers about how and what they like to experience when fencing, we have responded by designing new programmes that have reached over 3,000 more young people.

Whilst these have been a success, we have also learnt along the way and wanted to share these learnings with clubs, coaches or anyone who is looking to start fencing for young people.
