Charlie Miller, the National Development Administrator for British Fencing, took part in the Sport Relief run on 25th March 2012. He wore full fencing kit including a mask and ran 3 miles in front of Buckingham Palace in just over 25 minutes. Miller was thrilled with his involvement in this event and has already raised over £150. You can still sponsor him by going to https://my.sportrelief.com/sponsor/charliemillerbf.

Speaking at the end of his run Miller said; “That was a fantastic experience. Running in full fencing kit was not easy but I got a lot of attention. At the same time as raising the profile of the sport I was able to raise a great deal of money.”

SportRelief has already raised over £52million for worthy causes at home and abroad. Visit their website www.sportrelief.com to find out more.
