Entries Open Today for BUCS Regional Fencing Series (Midlands)

Entries open at 11.59pm tonight for the BUCS Regional Fencing Series in the Midlands, run by British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) in partnership with BF.

The BUCS Regional Fencing Series is the perfect introduction to competitive fencing, and is ideal for beginners and novices. This event will be taking place at the David Ross Sports Village (University of Nottingham) on the 5th November 2022.

Entry is online through BUCS Play.

Entries will open at 11.59pm on Tuesday 27th September.

Entries will close at 11.59pm on Tuesday 18th October for students.

Entries will close at 11.59pm on Thursday 20th October for institution administrators.

Entry cost: £28.00 per weapon

Competitors will require a British Fencing membership. Students without a British Fencing membership will be eligible to enter and compete in this event under the British Fencing Introductory membership, which is free and valid for 90 days.

The BUCS Fencing Series will give priority to those students attending institutions in the region the event is being held, but all institutions are welcome to compete.

Late entries may be permitted at the discretion of the Regional Competitions Coordinator and may be subject to an additional charge.
