The FIE will launch the third session of the FIE Budapest Fencing Academy. The duration of the session is 3 months: from September 4 to December 1, 2017.

The FIE has allocated some places for the former high performance athletes as part of the Athletes Career Programme.

Therefore, athletes, competitive or retired who are interested in becoming professional coaches are invited to submit an application to British Fencing to be nominated to be part of the FIE academy programme.

To be eligible for the FIE ACP, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a member of the National Team and have participated in at least Zonal Championship or a World Championship;

• To be at least 18 years old

Please find below some logistical and practical information for your application:

• Arrival: September 3, 2017

• Departure: December 2, 2017

The courses will be in sabre, épée and foil.

The FIE will cover all the costs (accommodation and meals) and will offer EUR 200 as a contribution for the travel costs.
