COACH REQUIRED: WARRIORS PENTATHLON AND ATHLETICS CLUB

Warriors Pentathlon and Athletics Club is looking for a British Fencing Level 2 (or higher) qualified and registered Epee coach, to start as soon as possible.

Venue: Wirral, Merseyside

Times: Monday or Friday evenings (exact day/time to be confirmed as per Coach’s schedule).

Provisional Salary: £30.00/ hour.

Warriors Pentathlon and Athletics Club seek a British Fencing Level 2 (or higher) qualified and registered Epee coach to jump-start our fencing programme.

Warriors is one of the newest and fastest growing modern pentathlon clubs in the country, with multiple European and World UIPM medallists. We have recently been designated a British Pentathlon Foundation Hub.

We are looking for an Epee coach to work with junior fencers at a beginner level, with a view towards preparing them for international modern pentathlon competition.

Instruction would initially be with our core group of pentathlon athletes (roughly 12 athletes, aged 10-16), almost all of whom have represented Team GB in UIPM competition, and are committed to developing their skillset.

We are looking to grow our fencing capacity over time, so this role will hopefully evolve from training a small group to potentially directing a flourishing Epee programme.

Experience working with juniors, and experience with fencing in a modern pentathlon context would be a plus.
