DON’T MISS OUT ON VOLUNTEERING AT CARDIFF 2024

The Wheelchair Fencing World Cup is being hosted in Cardiff January 2024, and there’s still time to register as a volunteer.

With less than a month to go until the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup, the organising team are looking forward to welcoming new and existing volunteers to the sport, all who will play an integral part in delivering a world class experience for athletes, support staff, officials and spectators.

There are a number of volunteer roles available, including:

  • Venue and Transport support team
  • Weapons Check and Call Room support
  • Piste side assistance
  •

All volunteers will be provided with training prior to the event, giving you the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil the various roles throughout the competition.

Events Manager Evie Millar said: “volunteers are key to the delivery of any sporting occasion and we are looking forward to welcoming people from both the fencing community and those from outside of the sport, who we know will bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the World Cup!”

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of the team! We are committed to providing inclusive and accessible experiences for all volunteers, and we encourage everyone to sign up. If you need any support with completing the form or have any questions for the team, please email: [email protected]
