GB Junior World Cup to include Women’s Category

British Fencing will be hosting the Eden Cup, part of the FIE Junior Foil World Cup series, on 16 September, 2017.  We are delighted to announce that for the first time this will include a Women’s Foil Junior World Cup event.

Georgina Usher, CEO of British Fencing, said, ‘It is exciting news that we can build and grow on the success of this competition by including a women’s event.  Combined with the Leon Paul Cup event on the Sunday, the weekend will be a fantastic opportunity for athletes, coaches and supporters to experience one of the best International tournaments in the UK.”

The Eden Cup will be held on Saturday 16 September at SportsDock at the University of East London.  Both the Men and Women’s event will be held on the Saturday.  The Leon Paul Cup will be held at the same venue on Sunday 17 September. Please note that there will not be a team event at this year’s tournament.
