Fast Track Level 1 Foil, Epee, Sabre Coaching Course.

Times: 9.00 – 5.00pm each day

Venue:  Northfleet School for Girls, Hall Road, Northfleet, Gravesend, DA11 8AQ (click here for map)

Directions:

From the west:
Exit A2 at Pepperhill interchange, A2260/Northfleet/Gravesend  W. Turn right at roundabout and follow road uphill and to left. Get in right hand lane and take 3rd exit at next roundabout, A2260. Coming along Hall Road, cross a zebra crossing and pass Mitchell Avenue on the left. The entrance to the sports centre is on the right, just before the second zebra crossing. Drive through green gates to car park.

From the east:
Exit A2 at Pepperhill interchange, B260, towards B262, Pepperhill/Longfield. Take 3rd exit at roundabout, A2260. Cross over A2. Stay in right hand lane and take 3rd exit at next roundabout. Follow signs for Cygnet Leisure Centre. Coming along Hall Road,  pass Mitchell Avenue on the left. The entrance to the sports centre is on the right, just before the second zebra crossing. Drive through green gates to car park.

Cost: £175.00 (Includes BFA registration and Course Manual. Please note that this course does not include First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children courses. Holding a recent First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children are requirements of registration on the coach register. Please contact Charlie Miller at [email protected] who will assist you to source an appropriate course. Certificates will not be issued until all registration requires have been met.

Entry Level Requirement. 1 year fencing experience. If you have been teaching Go Fence or Mini-fence and would like to make a transition to metal fencing, please discuss this with the course tutor prior to application.

Please note that candidates under the age of 18 will not be eligible to register as a coach and receive their qualification until they turn 18.

Applicants may be self-funding, or part or whole funded by their clubs and/or through their County Sports Partnership (Coach Development Officer) and/or through England Fencing (Development Grants).
