FULL-TIME EPEE COACH WANTED – THE KING’S SCHOOL

The King’s School, Canterbury is looking for a BF registered Epee coach (Level 2 or above) to join the coaching team full-time from September 2022.

The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking a British Fencing registered Epee Coach (Level 2 or above) to join the coaching team full-time from September 2022.

Reporting to the Head of Fencing, the successful applicant will have experience coaching within a school environment and will help support the delivery and development of the Fencing Programme at all levels of fencing at the King’s School and Junior King’s School.

Candidates will have proven experience of coaching beginners and experienced youth fencers in Epee. They will be an excellent communicator, be organised and punctual, and enjoy working as part of an ambitious team. Experience of armoury work and refereeing is also advantageous.

This is a role with an estimated 30 hrs per week for 34 weeks per year. There will also be various additional hours for assisting with administration and armoury work, and supporting pupils at internal and external competitions at weekends (incl. overnight stays).

In return a competitive salary of £23,000-£25,000 per year is offered, depending on qualification level and previous experience.
