British Fencing’s sponsor Beazley has joined forces with Hillier Nurseries to bring a fencing themed garden entitled ‘Duel and the Crown’ to the Hillier exhibition at the 2012 Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show. Men’s foilists Ben Peggs and Marcus Mepstead took part in a garden fencing photo shoot to raise awareness of the innovative tie-up, and to further promote the activity Hillier affiliated garden centres will be approaching their local fencing clubs to arrange fencing demonstrations in their centres. No fencing club is obliged to take part, but it is a great opportunity to showcase the sport in your local area and appeal to new members.
