First Epee Senior Grand Prix of the season to take place in Qatar

British fencers will take part in cadet, junior, under-23 and senior events this weekend.

Senior Men’s Epee – Qatar Grand Prix

Philip Marsh and Nick Perry will represent Great Britain at the first men’s epee Grand Prix of the season in Qatar.  The events starts on Friday with the round of 64 held on Saturday.  A link to the live results will be posted here.

Senior Women’s Epee – Qatar Grand Prix

Mary Cohen, Stella Lancey, Abbi Matthews, Jessica Osbaleston and Katrina Smith will take part in the first women’s epee Grand Prix of the season in Qatar.  The events starts on Saturday with the round of 64 held on Sunday.  A link to the live results will be posted here.

Under-23 Women’s Epee – Modling

Caroline Nickerson will be Great Britain’s sole representative amongst the field in Modling on Sunday.  Live results for the event will be posted here.

Junior Men’s Sabre – Dormagen

Nine British fencers will take part in the nominated individual men’s sabre event which will be held on Saturday.  Live results will be posted here.

Junior Women’s Sabre – Dormagen

The nominated women’s individual event in Dormagen also takes place on Saturday and there will be nine British fencers in the field competing for this title.  Maria Chart, Jessica Corby, Kate Daykin and Caitlin Maxwell make up the British team that will compete on Sunday.

Cadet Men’s Foil – Cabries

Fifteen British fencers will line up for this nominated individual event on Saturday with the team event taking place on Sunday.  For more information visit the official tournament website.
