Follow British junior, under-23 and senior fencers on international duty this weekend

British fencers will take part in junior, under-23 and senior events this weekend.

Senior Men’s Sabre – Padua World Cup

Ten British fencers will take part in this World Cup event in Italy at the weekend.  The individual event will begin at 11.30am (CET) on Friday and conclude on Saturday.  Great Britain (Crutchett, Deary, Honeybone and Webb) will also be involved in the team event which takes place on Sunday.  You can follow the event on the official webpage.

Senior Women’s Sabre – Athens World Cup

Four fencers will represent Great Britain at this event in the Greece at the weekend.  The first round of the individual event will begin at midday (CET) on Friday concluding on Saturday.  Great Britain will not be involved in the team event which begins at 9.00am (CET) on Sunday.  Live online results for both events have been advertised here.

U23 Women’s Epee – Busto Arsizio European Circuit Event

Four British fencers will take part in the under-23 European Circuit event in Italy at the weekend.  The event begins at 9.30am (CET) on Sunday.  No link to online results has been found for this event.

Junior Men’s Epee – Riga

James Odgers will be Great Britain’s sole representative in Lativa and will begin the tournament at 9.00am (CET) on Saturday.  No link to online results has been found for this event.

Junior Women’s Epee – Burgos

There will be nine British entries for the individual event in Spain on Saturday.  The event will begin at 8.30am (CET) with the gala final scheduled to begin at 7.30pm (CET).  Gundry, Lawson, McCarthy and Stanier will line up for Great Britain in the team event on Sunday.  Live online results for both events have been advertised here.

Junior Men’s Foil – Aix-en-Provence

Eleven British fencers will take part in the individual event in France on Saturday and Birch, Kiss, Lloyd and Rai will form the British team competing on Sunday.  More information about the event can be found on the official website.

Junior Women’s Foil – Zagreb

There will be five British entries for this event in Croatia on Saturday.  De Lange, Rowland, Smith and Taylor will line up for Great Britain in the team event on Sunday.  Live online results for both events have been advertised here.
