Tokyo Senior Men’s Foil World Cup

There were eight British fencers in the field of one hundred and seventy-seven in Japan at the weekend.  Richard Kruse achieved the best result by making the round of 16.

James-Andrew Davis, Marcus Mepstead, Kamal Minott and Ben Peggs formed the British team on Sunday in a field of twenty.  They beat Thailand in the round of 32 before losing to Russia and finished in thirteenth place.

Dublin Senior Men’s Epee Satellite

The field of seventy-two fencers included four from Great Britain.  Max Kurz Jordan and James Odgers got the best results by making the round of 64.

Bonn Cadet Men’s Epee EFC Circuit

A huge field of two hundred and twenty-two fencers at this event included two from Great Britain.  Stephen MacPherson got the best result by making the round of 64.

Modling Cadet Men’s Foil EFC Circuit

An even bigger field of two hundred and twenty-nine fencers took part in this event including fifteen from Britain.  Rafael Rhys Pollitt made the round of 32 – the best British result.

There were forty-four entries in the team event including three from Great Britain.  GBR A (Jean-Baptiste Baigneres, Cameron Evans, Rafael Rhy Pollitt and Benjamin Udrzal) achieved the best result by making the top eight.

Modling Cadet Women’s Foil EFC Circuit

An almost equally massive field of two hundred and twenty-eight fencers took part in the women’s event including fourteen from Britain.  Phoebe Newton-Hughes made the round of 32 – the best British result.

Three were thirty-two entries in the team event including three from Great Britain.  GBR A (Becci Curwen, Bronwen Granville and Phoebe Newton-Hughes) achieved the best result by making the top eight.
