British Fencing accepts that Mr. Daniel Parr did not intend to cause any offence in recent statements on the Internet; and Mr. Parr regrets any offence unintentionally caused.
Both parties wish and hope that the resolution of this disagreement, achieved by open discussion, will help toward a unified and cooperative approach to growing our great sport in the wake of the London 2012 Games.
