Due to concerns over the format of the London Open this weekend (26th/27th July) and the critical timing with respect to Commonwealth selection, British Fencing have taken the decision to withdraw the nominated status of this event temporarily so it will not count for national ranking points pending a full investigation and discussion with the organisers.

For reference, the current ranking rules available here require that competitions are run according to British Fencing rules (which incorporate the FIE Rules for Competitions) to qualify for ranking points.
