Message from CEO – Development Update

British Fencing’s Head of Development, Margaret Nolan, has now left the governing body for pastures new.  We thank her for all her efforts over the last 18 months, in particular the well-received Coaching Conference last year (with Christian Bauer as guest speaker), the soon-to-be released club marketing resources and the strides forward in Tutor development.

The job of replacing her is well underway; we are conducting a rigorous recruitment process for a full time Development Director. BF will be under-staffed in that department in the short term, but we will take the necessary time to make the right appointment, as it is critical for the development of the sport and our future funding.
