New site designed to help coaches and clubs promote their activity

MiPins is a new website aimed at enabling people to find and book local sporting activities.  The service also allows coaches and clubs to advertise and manage their bookings for free.

Partnering with The Telegraph, MiPins will be celebrating the first anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic Games and are getting the nation active by offering a free weekend of sporting activity on the 27th and 28th July.  If you are a coach or a club that would like to offer complimentary sessions over this weekend all you need to do is register online at www.mipins.com/thetelegraph, upload your offer and benefit from national exposure.  Only the offers that weekend need to be free as from then on they will offer a book and pay service for your prospective new fencers.

For anyone wanting to try out a new sport or simply indulge in your favourite pastime, be sure to buy The Telegraph on the 20th July so that you can claim a golden ticket.

Speaking about the launch, Margaret Nolan, Head of Development at British Fencing said; “This is a tremendous initiative for the nation who were captivated by the scenes in East London last year.  It is particularly important for the sport of fencing in this country, as one of our priorities is to grow participation in the sport.  Coaches and clubs are very much at the heart of our future and I encourage everyone to take advantage of this marvellous opportunity.”
