NAT LEWIS JOINS BF AS PROJECT OFFICER – PARA FENCING

Nat Lewis joins British Fencing’s ADP Team as Project Officer – Para Fencing

Nat has extensive coaching experience, and is a frequent coaching presence at BF’s Athlete Development Programme (ADP) Camps. He joins BF in a contracted part-time role where he will lead specific project work in the para fencing space.

Nat will be working with the ADP and the wider BF team including Virginia Bailey, Participation Director, and Rick Rogers, Inclusion Officer – Disability. He will work to run a number of events to increase the number of para fencers attending ADP Camps and create a situational analysis on a potential plan to create a hub for para fencing in the Bristol area.

Nat said, “I’m fantastically excited to be working with BF to help grow and promote wheelchair fencing. We have a golden opportunity to build on our recent high-level successes and to bring this amazing aspect of our sport to many more aspiring fencers up and down the country, and I can’t wait to get to work.”
