NEW DISABILITY INCLUSION ZONE!

New Disability Fencing 101 pages have been added to the Explore Fencing Zone on the BF website, to help new participants and existing members discover more about disability fencing.

In our continuing efforts to support the inclusion of disabled participants into fencing, and in response to requests from members of the fencing community, we have created a new Disability Fencing 101 zone on the website and will be filling it with resources moving forwards.

Currently, you can find the Disability Fencing 101 landing page which gives details on disability in the community and some terms you may encounter. The Accessible Venues page gives some ideas about how to make your training environment more accessible and inclusive. A page on Top Tips provides information on welcoming disabled people into the session.

The disability inclusion pages are part of the new Explore Fencing Zone on the BF website, which aims to provide a welcoming and informative resource for people who are new to the sport and may be starting their membership journey. If you would like to contribute to the zone or suggest content, please contact [email protected]
