Luxembourg Junior World Cup for Epee on the 4th and 5th of December has been nominated.
The competition in Luxembourg directly replaced the cancelled event in Lauphiem, Germany. BF was unable to include the competition in Luxembourg at this point as a nominated event as there were several restrictions preventing athletes from entering the country from the UK. On Friday, 29th of October 2021, the government of Luxembourg changed their requirements for UK citizens to enter their country.
The change in entry status has allowed BF to nominate both a men’s and women’s squad for the Luxembourg Junior World Cup.
The selection point for Laupheim was the 26th of October, 2021. Using the same principles, the ADT has kept the selection point the same. Over the weekend, the ADP moved quickly to start the selection process for the event using the rankings that were locked as of the 26th of October.
We are looking to post the selection notice on the morning of the 2nd of November 2021. There is a short window to accept the entry and complete the traveller information required for entry into Luxembourg.
