From next season the FIE has decided to change the length of the junior season, with Junior World Cup events scheduled as early as September 2014. As a result, the British Fencing International Youth Committee has decided to make changes to the Junior under 20 selection scheme for next season.

There will therefore be carry-over of points from the 2013-14 season as follows:

·         50 per cent of international points (including European and World Championships)

·         50 per cent of Junior National Championship Points

These points will provide the initial ranking for the 2014-15 season. They will be dropped after the second British Selection Circuit event.
