RIO2016 Olympic Qualification Resumes

The senior international season begins this weekend with two sabre World Cups – one in Georgia, the other in Venezuela.

Men’s Sabre – Tbilisi World Cup

Soji Aiyenuro, Harry Boteler, Alex Crutchett, William Deary, Jacob Gander-Compton, James Honeybone, Curtis Miller, Brynmor Saunders, Kirk Slankard and JJ Webb will return to action this weekend at this event.  All ten will compete in the individual event on Friday and Saturday with Crutchett, Honeybone, Miller and Webb making up the British team that will compete on Sunday.

Women’s Sabre – Caracus World Cup

Katherine Kempe will be Great Britain’s sole representative at this event in Venezuela.  She will begin competing at 2.30pm (BST) on Friday.  Live results have not been advertised as yet.
