British Fencing, the National Governing Body for Fencing, is now seeking to create a pool of Talent Coaches across all three weapons. These coaches will join the existing Talent Pathway Coaches as part of the Talent Pathway coaching team.

This could include camps, individual coaching between camps, Talent Development Centre support, various Talent Selection days and identified international competitions.  The work could also include leadership of talent development centres, co-ordination and administrative duties.

The Talent Coaches will deliver sessions to athletes identified as part of the Fencing Talent Pathway in conjunction with their personal coaches. This work will encompass Talent Development Centres (TDCs) through to national training camps and will often be in support of the Talent Pathway coaches.

Talent Coaches will be responsible for supporting the Talent Pathway philosophy, culture and values and will help to support an environment of continuous improvement which develops independent, robust and resilient athletes.

If you feel you have the suitable skills and attributes for this position then we would like to hear from you.

This is a profession which is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
