Nominations for this year’s award close on Friday 12th December

Each year the Torch Trophy Trust celebrates the achievements of outstanding volunteers within grassroots sport at it’s annual Awards ceremony.

The awards, sponsored by DAKS since it’s inception in 1962, are a chance for those unsung heroes of grassroots sport to get the recognition they deserve.

Of the Awards ceremony, Sir Bobby Charlton CBE president of the Torch Trophy Trust said; “Volunteering is more often than not a thankless task but we must remember that without volunteers grassroots sport simply wouldn’t be able to function.  If we are to boost volunteering in this country, we need to ensure that the tireless work of these individuals is recognised, supported and celebrated.”
