Summary of consultation feedback and publication of updated Paralympic Nomination Policy, subject to final BF Board approval, BPA and UKSI agreement.

BF recently opened member consultation on the Paralympic Nomination Policy.

No responses were received by the original consultation closing date, however 2 responses from athletes were received in the following week and these were taken into consideration.

The policy was also shared with the BPA for their feedback.

In response to the feedback, there are two material changes as follows:

  1. Inclusion of the Bipartite Process
  2. Further clarification of the intention to nominate teams where sufficient athletes have been awarded slots by IWAS.

The updated policy is available here – the yellow highlights show the material changes made as a result of the consultation.

The final Nomination Policy will be subject to agreement with the British Paralympic Association, UKSI and approval by the BF Board.
