
Following a query to BF from the organiser of the Invicta Open, 14th-15th March 2026, at Polo Farm Sports Centre Canterbury Kent, advice was obtained from the South East Health Protection Team. The BF Medical Committee has published the following notice.
The organiser confirmed that none of the Kent students at the event appeared to be at risk.
If you have any symptoms, please contact your local GP.
Due to the recent meningitis cases in Kent, medical advice was obtained from the South East Health Protection Team. The definition of close contact does not include interactions at events such as the Invicta Open. For further information, this is a useful source: http://www.meningitisnow.org/
