Upcoming Refereeing Opportunities

Last updated: 8th August 2025

British Fencing provides a variety of communication services for event organisers to advertise their events to participants. In listing these opportunities, BF is not acting as an agent or representative of these events or its participants (be these fencers or officials). Terms and conditions will vary from event to event and questions should be directed at the organisers in the first instance.

The following upcoming refereeing opportunities will be published on this page:

  • International FIE opportunities (other than those allocated as part of the Annual Allocation process).
  • International EFC opportunities (other than those allocated as part of the Annual Allocation process).
  • Domestic opportunities.

If you would like your refereeing opportunity to be listed here, please complete the referee request form.

Notice to potential referees:

By contacting the organisers of an event you are giving them notification of your interest and availability. Until the organisers have confirmed with you directly that they wish to use your services, you should not make any non-refundable bookings. Contacting the organisers does not constitute a contract between a referee and the organisers and no financial liabilities arise between the referee and the organiser. Please also check any remuneration or expenses offered with the organisers directly.
