Short‑Notice Changes

BF, FIE and EFC calendars may change at short notice. Changes can occur due to international scheduling issues, delays in official information, or unexpected logistical problems.

Nomination and Selection Timescales

BF aims to publish selections for nominated international events eight weeks before the competition. On some occasions this timeframe may be shorter, particularly if essential details such as reglements, confirmed dates or timetable updates are delayed.

Event Categories

There are three types of international events:

• Nominated events provide full ranking points and can be used in Major Championship selection.
• Development events provide reduced ranking points and are not used for Major Championship selection.
• Non‑nominated events do not provide ranking points.
